The Vacancy:
Business Development Manager Color OEM (m/f)
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and launching color market development programs in the EMEA Markets and will function as the forceful drive be-hind OEM new qualification projects. The major part of the assignment is to develop and target OEM Business and the better utilization of manufacturing facilities and capacities.
Next to the development of color programs for blow molding and injection molding segments, the business development manager will focus on the analyzing of key success factors for developing colors in other (new) segments and on the implementing of action plans.
The successful Business Development manager build up extensive relationships with all involved business partners and identifies innovative opportunities to drive the growth program in the EMEA market.
The position is located at the south western part of Germany and reports to the European Marketing Director
Background / Experience:
The successful candidate should have extensive experience in the field of chemical colour prod-ucts in an international environment, with either a chemical or an engineering background. He/she has a successful track record in Sales or Key Account management and is able to manage complex technical and commercial projects.
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Proven Business Development and / or Technical Sales experience
- Account development skills & track record for medium term projects
- Perseverance, self motivation and strong problem solving skills
- Knowledge of polymers and/or polymer processing ideally in Molding segment
- Competence in Product Development and positioning
- Relevant Science and marketing background
- Very good command in English and German
- Able to manage a budget
