The Company

Our Client is a leading platforms and services provider enabling value-added services for advertising agencies & brands, media groups, mobile operators and large enterprises.

Our Client is listed on the LSE since 2006 and is expanding globally from a European company to a worldwide marketing business in providing independent digital, online and mobile marketing services such as campaigns, location based services, messaging etc.

In order to capitalise on this trend our Client is recruiting an Account Director to develop relationships and build revenue streams through Network Operators in the German speaking countries and Eastern Europe.

The successful candidate must be able to strategically utilize and leverage industry and product knowledge and existing strategic relationships to close revenue (product licenses and services) by identifying, developing, and managing opportunities in large Telecommunication Operator accounts.

Job Description

Being responsible for building revenue streams through mobile network operators in the area you need to:

  • Identify revenue opportunities in target enterprise accounts, develop sales plans, and execute to close revenue.
  • Develop relationships with the Commercial Divisions of Operators (CMO, CCO etc.)
  • Deliver annual sales revenues as defined in budgets and targets and the defined levels of margin.
  • Insure that our client is generally perceived as a strategic underpinning within the Mobile Marketing arena.

Job Responsibilities

  • While possessing executive-selling skill, build account relationships from senior to executive level
  • Engage tactically in the business executive and staff level within divisional or departmental sales and marketing initiatives and establish and maintain strong relationships with industry peers and major corporate players
  • Report accurately the revenue performance and status of sales activities
  • Involve directly in high profile sales pitches and with tier one accounts plus market development at the highest level into target segment.
  • Develop and execute major Sales and Marketing policies, programmes and objectives (both short and long term) to promote and ensure the company’s continuing success and growth
  • Meet or exceed revenue quota objectives in assigned territory for products and services

Skills and Experience

  • Five or more years of experience of working on the supplier side of Network Operators (mobile marketing companies, supplier of added value services or content provider for the mobile industry) or at Telecom Operators or Consulting Services 
  • Experience of selling to Network Operators in the assigned area will be considered as a valuable asset
    Experience of proposing and executing strategic sales in solutions orientated and services environment and proven track record of winning profitable business in a dynamic, creative and or leading edge technology markets.
  • Experience of new media and telecoms environment will be considered a plus
  • Strong network of existing relationships with Operators (contact database)
  • Strong communications and presentation skills, Team Approach 
  • Proven track record of winning profitable business in a dynamic, creative and leading edge technology market.
  • Integrity, commitment to excel and positive attitude combined with energy and enthusiasm.
